Il Preset P388 è uno strumento di precisione che misura il raggio e l’altezza di un utensile utilizzando un

tastatore dotato di molla di precarico ed un comparatore. The Preset P388 is a precision instrument that

measures the radius and height of a tool by means of a spring-loaded probe and an optical

DIAL INDICATOR.

La funzione del comparatore applicato sul Preset è duplice/ The DIAL INDICATOR has a double function:

1) Modesta forza di contatto fra tastatore ed utensile.Permette di misurare anche utensili

particolarmente fragili, come ad es. le frese con placchette in policristallino

The contact between the probe and the tool is not strong, therefore it is possible to measure also

particularly fragile tools, such as diamond tools.

2) La ripetibilità della misurazione è garantita dal fatto che è il comparatore ad indicare quando

l’utensile è nella corretta posizione per poi effettuare la misurazione.

The exact measurement repeating is guaranteed by the DIAL INDICATOR

that shows when the tool is in the correct measuring position.

La struttura del Preset P388 è molto robusta grazie anche alla colonna dell’asse Z realizzata in

acciaio ed all’utilizzo di guide di precisione a ricircolo di sfere.

The structure of the Preset P388 is particularly sturdy thanks also to the Z axis column made of steel

and the use of preloaded recirculating ball bearings guides.
